*sigh*-*update* added a link to my new blog.

I feel so good. I really do. This week was nice and next week promises to be better.

I discovered Dr. Heinrich Wolfflin's 5 sets of opposing traits this semester and it really struck me how useful they could be this week. The Apollonian versus the Dionysian.

1. Linear vs. Painterly
2. PLanar vs. Recessional
3. Closed vs. Open
4. Clarity vs. Relative Clarity
5. Multiplicity vs. Unity

and here's a drawing from this week that has nothing to do with that whatsoever...

Still Sketchin"

Dammit. This place is getting too quiet. Well, I am still drawing all the time and sketching and making crap. I figure I must be getting closer to that 10,000 bad drawings mark. Here's some pages from my sketchbook.

Oh yeah it's ME!

Here's a charcoal drawing from Bruce Samuelson's class. I'm tentatively calling it "Crucified".

Sorry for the cell phone pics again. I will try to get some better pictures next week with the family camera, mine is still broken. Starting to get somewhere with these paintings though.
